**Professor Edith Garcia** received her BFA from the **Minneapolis College of Art and Design**, MFA from the **California College of the Arts** and MPhil at the **Royal College of Art** in London.

Garcia was awarded the Viola Frey Distinguished Visiting Professorship at the **California College of the Arts** and is currently a **Professor** at the **California College of the Arts** and **University of California, Berkeley**. Has authored major publications and is an ongoing contributor to visual and design online and print publications.
